Photography in August-December 2019

At the very start of 2019, I had hoped to find time to post news here on a weekly basis and also post some of my favourite images recently captured.  I have tried my best to keep the blog updated but due to workload, I started to fall behind around August with it being the busiest month of the year for us.

It is now January 2020 and I have just found time to bring everything up to date, as we start yet another new year and a new decade!

During August, September, October and November 2019 we were busy with Weddings, and pre-Wedding portrait shoots, whilst in the studio, passport photos and portraits of people and their pets.  December we concentrate on Portraits for Christmas as these make wonderful gifts for parents and grandparents.  Portraits can be a very emotional gift to give and we frequently hear feedback that the recipient had a few tears upon opening their gift on Christmas morning.  It is such a personal gift that only you can give and is always greatly received.

Some of the venues we visited for Weddings during the autumn months were All Souls Roman Catholic Church, in Peterborough, Orton Hall Hotel, Normanton Park Hotel over at Rutland Water, as well as Normanton Church on the reservoir.  We were fortunate enough to have a lovely trip around the lake on the Rutland Belle, by courtesy of our couple, Louise and David on what proved to be an exceptionally hot sunny day.  We also attended weddings at St Benedict’s Church, Glinton near Peterborough, Crowland Abbey, The Bell Hotel at Stilton, The 19th Hole Thorney Golf Course, Toft Country House Hotel near Bourne in Lincolnshire and Stoke Rochford Hall near Grantham and Stamford Register Office to name a few.

Here is a mix of some of my favourite Wedding and Portrait images by kind permission of our customers.
