Thorney Abbey & Golf Course Wedding Photography | N&S
Natasha and Steven married at Thorney Abbey, followed by a reception party at The 19th Hole, Thorney Golf Course. We started the day capturing images of Natasha and the girls getting ready in the morning at her parent’s home in Peterborough. It is always a busy time, but everyone had great fun with lots of laughter as they prepared for the day ahead. The dress was amazing and Natalie looked stunningly beautiful. We all headed off for the reception at Thorney Abbey. It was a warm sunny day but quite windy by the time we arrived at the abbey. Natasha and the girls arrived in horse drawn carriages. It is however strange to witness weddings with everyone wearing face mask and social distancing due to the pandemic. I have to say the situation did not dampen spirits and everyone behaved impeccably sticking to the government guidelines for the sake of health and safety.
The 19th Hole, Thorney Golf Course, is an amazing venue for wedding receptions. The grounds are stunning and perfect for the photos. The couple and their 30 guests enjoyed a lovely dinner and drinks before leaving early in the evening as dancing is still banned under the restrictions.
