The Talbot Hotel Wedding Photography | S&S
Today we attended the marriage of Stephanie and Simon at St Andrews Church, Barnwell, followed by a reception party at The Talbot Hotel, in Oundle, Northamptonshire.
It was a hot summer day with blue skies and above average temperatures. Such a lovely change from the usual grey, dull days, we frequently get here in the UK. This has been the best summer for years, perfect for summer weddings.
Today Stephanie and Simon chose a Harry Potter theme for their wedding day, with an owl taking centre stage as it flew the rings down the aisle and delivered them perfectly to the gloved hand of Reverend who was such a good sport to participate fully in today’s proceedings. Following the ceremony at the village church, Stephanie and Simon exited to the pipes and drums played by friends of the couple. Portraits were taken in the grounds of Barnwell Manor, home for both Stephanie and Simon. It is a rather spectacular place with beautiful gardens and its own castle on site, which was built in 1266. Barnwell manor being the former home of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
The party then moved to the Talbot Hotel in Oundle, where friends and family celebrated with the happy couple late into the evening.
