Yesterday we attended the wedding ceremony of Hannah and Adam at one of our favourite venues, Stoke Rochford Hall. I love photographing weddings in the autumn when the colours outdoors are simply magical. Unfortunately, after a long mild spell, the weather changed dramatically on the day and actually snowed for a brief period, which then turned to heavy rain for the rest of the day.
This did not dampen spirits at all and you could feel the excitement build as the preparations got underway. By midday guests were already arriving for the ceremony, family and friends greeting others they had not seen in ages, all excited for the coming ceremony and the party that followed. Everyone looked amazing especially Hannah as she made her grand entrance into the orangery, where everyone had gathered for the ceremony. It is such a large bright airy space, so much so that you feel like you could be outdoors. Stoke Rochford Hall is a photographers dream venue, on a wet day, as there are endless possibilities to create beautiful photos for our clients indoors. Family and friends had an amazing time and celebrating with the happy couple late into the evening.
